Bettypandapony.

Mlle Cocotier hadn't blogged in a while so felt a bit behind. Using the Film Noir images, because they are still without a doubt my favourites, I re designed her blog for her. She also decided to change the link name to www.bettypandapony.blogspot.com you alone can decide whether you read that as Betty P and a Pony or Betty Panda Pony. Either way it's funny.
Check it out,
Thanks.

Film Noir

I dressed up and made Cocotier dress up with me and made a set of images themed on 'Film Noir' a debatable subject as to whether it is actually classed as a genre on it's own or not. It emerged around the same time as the saying 'Femme Fatale' common themes including; Black and white, grainy images, short curly hair, slightly evil but seductive poses, defined eyebrows and smoking.
Below are the images, enjoy!

Bottled Happiness

So me and Kiwi Wallis go through creative stages. Lately we've been having a blank but the idea to fill bottles with coloured happiness happened today spontaneously. We had a talk about how we all live in the same very average and boring area yet some of us seem happier than others. We concluded that it's because the people bring the happiness onto themselves. No fun? Make some.
Here are some pictures of the happiness we created today, the ingredients are secret.

I'm filling up on my colours. Each colour is a different personality and works in a different way. I drank all the colours and now I feel great.

Kiwi Wallis and Ananas - it's happy time!

Interesting, mixing the personalities.

Fruit filled day..

Like I said before, I am a pineapple. Here is a picture of me and my boyfriend M. Anano. Isn't he such a cutie? We always go to town on a thursday, this is just a typical day for us.

Here is a picture of me and my good friend Betty Cocotier and our babies. On the left her daughter Coco and on the right my daughter Anane. I love this picture!

Me and my friends in town, Anane got a bit shy and decided to hide away inside my shirt. I love my fruity little family.

This picture is one I find quite tasteful even if it does look as though I am shoplifting pineapples. I wasn't, I was trying to convince her that lifts are not scary.

Anane asked me if one day she might be even bigger than her mummy, I felt sorry for her knowing that she wouldn't so I let her be tall and take a ride on my head. N'aww.

Above is a picture of me and Anano and how we first met. It was love at first sight. A coup de foudre.
Je t'aime mon cheri Anano.

WATERMELON!

My late night bored has once again struck, combined with my love of all things fruity. The outcome isn't as neat as I would have liked but I think it looks pretty cool all the same.

I'm calling you at 3am

There is always reason to the madness, never question that! These photos are the result of my night. Like any other night, bored and unable to sleep until 3/4 am. I drink too much caffeine. I needed to occupy myself. and obviously drinking some wine lead me to paint my lips like a love heart.
Mlle Ananas, c'est moi. I love the depth of these images too.

NEWSPAPER DRESS

Another dress I made from something else. Something a little bit different to your average fabric. This is my personal favourite and with my favourite images. Modelled again for me by Betty Cocotier, if you want to check out her blog it's; http://rhumcocoananas.blogspot.co.uk/
I had seen some other newspaper dresses on the internet and I was interested to give it a go myself. I decided to gather materials and a model, and try it out without much planning at all (none). It turned out great considering, I also tried to incorporate colour into the dress, an aspect that I had not yet seen anyone else do when making a newspaper dress. I used a yellow newspaper for the middle piece and used to most colour full pages I could find without ruining the feel that it was newspaper.

On the bridge. An image I love due to the reminiscent feel it has.
I'm pleased with my outcome! Yay, Happy Pineapple.
